Thoughts & Considerations
The main goal of my project, Assisted Motorized Mover is to be able to move heavy objects from one place to another with ease. With that said I can confidently say that goal was achieved.

Originally this projects main idea was to reduce injuries within a warehouse, with the sole purpose of minimizing injuries caused by moving heavy objects. As I started to explore the concept of workplace injuries caused by moving heavy objects, I realized after starting to develop AM^2 that it can, and should be universal to all. AM^2 really is unique, using the same strong motorized base for two completely different concepts and having them meld together creating a truly universal device. My partner Abraham Spartz helped build and program the Assisted Motorized Mover, changing out the different tops to the base, his omni chair--- a reinvented wheel chair and my heavy lifter which created two very different projects using one machine.

The final project that family, friends and professional reviews saw and interacted with was a clean and concise universal motorized base. Watching AM^2 glide across the stage with ease while Abraham presented the device in all its glory, talking about the good bad and the ugly that we went through to get this motorized machine up and running for everyone to see. Many people were curious to what capability's AM^2 could do and most were eager to drive it and test it out.

Of corse there were some challenges that we all came across, for me the challenges I faced was the unstableness of the base. Having wheels and axles grinding agents the metal frame leaving deep groves within the structure, or having the supports attached the the underneath of the base fail. Creating a shaky and unstable ride as it traveled across the ground, not to mention the most pressing challenge that both Abe and I faced was the coding. Hitting hurdles half way through with switching up different types of script, the need to recruit the knowledge and expertise of our classmate Aron Bart who was a tremendous help with this process and spent months on trying to make AM^2 finally start up and get running.
Overall the whole process of researching, designing and building AM^2 was so worth the time and effort put into this project. It was so rewarding seeing Abe and Aron driving the motorized base around, the accomplishment that had been achieved was unreal. With final touches done and seeing how just a vision could actually become something real was truly a wonderful day.

Todd Hunter makes STEAM. Without him this program would not be where it is today, if I could give any advice to any incoming freshman it would be to get involved with STEAM. This program builds people up, it makes you who you are and pushes you to step outside of your comfort zone. The best part about high school for me was being a part of STEAM, using the skills learned builds this foundation within you that is a stepping stone to growth. STEAM is an experience I'll never forget and I am so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of something this wonderful.
